My favorite travel trend is what mommy calls, experiential travel. Experiential travel connects you to a city or country in someway. For auntie, it’s to collect a key chain in every city, state and country. For grand-mere, it’s to visit a library in every city. As for mommy and me, its to visit a Children’s Museum when adventuring.
When thinking about a travel trend I say: Look at some of my awesome photos at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee http://www.bbcmkids.org/. An great place for tots by the way!
What are some of your traveling trends?
Is it kid friendly?
Is it a place where you and mommy feel good?
Is it a place you know well?
Tiny Tips For Mommas:
Hey Guys! The Traveling Toddler’s mom HERE! Lets first start out by defining Experiential Travel, WOW big word, right! Experiential travel, also known as immersion travel, is a form of tourism in which people focus on experiencing a country, city or particular place by connecting to its history, people and culture. https://www.trekksoft.com/en/blog/rise-of-experiential-travel. Truly and honestly Experiential Travel Trends are amazing! For example, our Experiential Travel Trend, the Children’s Museum, will topically always have a a few things. 1) A pretend grocery store, 2) A water exhibit, and 3) An area for tots ONLY. Also, if they don’t have a cafe on the premises, it will at least have a place for you to eat your brown bag lunch.
When considering your Travel Trends:
Do they they have Changing table?
Are there usually clean restrooms and maybe a family bathrooms?
Is it a safe and kid friendly environment?
Is there a place where buying healthy, allergy-friendly snack or lunch?
Is there a place for adults to sit and chill while the kids play?
